Radiohead – Bangers and Mash
One of the greatest Radiohead B-Sides is also one of the least Radiohead-like Radiohead songs ever. (Sorry if that sentence made your brain hurt)..
It’s that rarest of things – a Radiohead song that might not clear the room if you put it on at a party.
Radiohead – You
Only the second Radiohead song I’ve featured. There would have been more but I’ve specifically avoided it, seeing as everyone that knows me would expect this blog to be ONLY Radiohead songs.
This one is proof that – despite popular opinion – Creep wasn’t the only reason the band were worth paying attention to back in ’93 (especially in the live realm).
Thom Yorke – Harrowdown Hill
I still haven’t heard Thom’s latest solo album, but I dig his debut. This is the best song on it, in my opinion.
Radiohead – How to Disappear Completely
One of my all-time favourite Radiohead songs. Thom’s voice + those strings = amazing.
But how do you disappear completely, according to the song? Well it’s easy. Just say “I’m not here. This isn’t happening”.
